So what I mean by excusitis? Do you have way too many excuses on why you can’t find the time to exercise? Need some motivation to get you back on track? Here’s a really good one: Exercise has been shown to improve your love life! Really!

Often people think of exercise as a tool to make them feel better or to look better. Maybe you just want to fit in the cute pair of jeans? But the benefits don’t stop there, exercise can help you feel better, look better, and have better relationships with everyone- including your significant other. People who exercise are also usually more financially successful too! Lot’s of reasons to get off the couch!

Benefits of Exercise

Become a better version of you! Regular exercise makes you feel better about yourself, so you show the world a better you. How you perceive yourself is obvious to those around you. Choose to start your day with exercise and every day is a great day!

Attract more positive people. You are the average of the five people you hang out with the most. Choose wisely! When you feel better about yourself, you tend to attract more positive and successful people.

Be a better role model. When you exercise on a regular basis, you tend to be a better example to those around you – especially your children. Parents who exercise tend to eat better, have better sleep patterns, and tend to have healthier children. They learn their habits from you!

Be more social. Exercise can hep you overcome any social anxieties that you have. People that exercise together have a tribe mentality. You will have more confidence and make more positive friends. My running peeps are my family away from home!

Have better relationships. When you are working towards your exercise goals, this positive energy tends to spill out into your whole life. All of a sudden anything is possible and you figure out how to solve many issues that you face daily. You make goals to feel better, look better and be a better person. This helps with all your relationship at home and/or work. It’s amazingly powerful when you start writing down your goals they get closer to happening. Remember that a goal not written down is a mere wish!

Communicate better. Exercise helps you to be more alert during the day and get better sleep at night. These couple together to make you brain actually function better. This can only help your communication skills with everyone around you. Communication is the key to success in all areas of life; but especially in your interpersonal relationships! I think I have proved my point: exercise can improve your love life 🙂

Exercise cannot fix everything in your life, but it certainly can make a better version of you. Stop making excuses. If you want something you’ve never had, you have to be willing to do something you’ve never done. Habitual exercise is a foundation stone of a successful life.
